Panama City Beach has immaculate shores and calm, clear waters, making this a desirable place to vacation and live. The beaches here are nationally ranked as some of the best in the country, and local watersports like snorkeling and kayaking keep residents connected with nature. While this is a beach town, the area can feel surprisingly urban with its sprawling shopping center, Pier Park, and various dining options nearby. With several golf courses in the area, residents enjoy taking advantage of the tropical weather by playing golf year-round.

Without needing to leave the resort, the H2O Bar and Grill offers people great food next to the pool, just steps off the sand. They serve excellent mahi-mahi tacos that pair well with many of the beers available at the bar. On the resort's ground floor is the Majestic Market, which has quick snacks and Starbucks coffee to fuel your day.
Also located on the resort is Panhandle Watersports, which offers beachside jet ski rentals available in singles or doubles, making this activity fun for a group or solo exploring. A movie theater is available on-site, and the covered parking garage is accessible from the towers by air-conditioned walkovers so that on the days you need to beat the heat, Majestic Beach resort has you covered.
Pier Park is a versatile shopping center and provides options in terms of activities for people in the area. Pier Park holds the popular attraction, SkyWheel, which has a miniature golf course, rope course, and the Skywheel itself that takes observers nearly 200 feet into the air for breathtaking coastline views. The mall also has several casual dining options that can satisfy after a day of shopping.
For festive occasions or important anniversaries, the highly rated Firefly has a romantic ambiance, a gourmet menu, and a full bar that can accommodate that special occasion.
Things to Do
St. Andrews State Park is one of Florida’s protected parks that offers a variety of outdoor activities apart from relaxing on the beach. The local company, Shell Island Shuttle, offers shuttle boats out to Shell Island, pontoon boat rentals, snorkeling, and more. They will soon have a Dolphin Tour in St. Andrew Bay, home to one of the world's largest populations of bottle-nose dolphins.
You can rent snorkeling gear by taking the shuttle to Shell Island, and from there, you can view sea life in their natural habitat and search for different fish, crabs, and elusive sea turtles.
